I have fear of having to go at school, parties, outings, with boys or people I’m not comfortable with. This causes my stomach to get really nervous before going out and causes ibs. I need help!

I have chronic Diarrhea and other issues due to digestive problems,so I started taking acidophilus a few days ago,I have noticed allot more gas then usual and really bad heartburn,I am also getting headaches is this normal with acidophilus?What is going on here??Am I taking too much possibly?am I allergic???

What was your first attack of IBS like?
Mine was so severe…
Is it likely for IBS to hurt only on the left side of the abdomen?
And be present mild all the time, but severe sometimes?
And give a colic pain in the upper left abdomen, just below the stomach?

Okay, so it’s kinda obvious that if im ill/at the toilet most of the time people are gonna wonder whats up, and the truth is that i have irritable bowel syndrome (diagnosed by my doctor) Just wondering, how I could tell people that without it embarrassing? I could say I have a digestive disorder but would people still find that funny? what could I say?

My 13 year old daughter suffers from severe gas daily, so I am trying to figure out what is causing her discomfort. I am eliminating dairy from her diet for one week as a test. Today I purchased 100% lactose free milk but I am wondering if I should have went with a soy milk instead. Any helpful thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. :0)

Has anyone tried an antidepressent that works for anxiety and is also for people who have IBS and GI problems? I’ve tried many like Zoloft and Lexapro and Buspar and they all basically killed my stomach then I was put on Remeron which has been helping with anxiety somewhat but has increased my appetite tremendously and I’m just gaining weight every day. Please I need advice.

i was recently diagnosed with IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) certain meds can set off my stomach and upset me.. in case of emergency would it be important for someone to know this? if so should i get a medical bracelet?
