also i boght a 2 day total body detox from gnc to take before that daybut after i read more it is for cleansing the digestive system , intestines, and colon. should i use it for the couple days prior to the test or are there any natural herbs, etc. i can use over the next two days to help

I recently started using organic soap from Bio-Botanicals (http://www.bio-botanicals.com/soap.html) It was on clearance at Pier-1, so I bought a couple bars…not sure if bar soap is the best thing to wash your face with, seeing as it has been drying out my face and then becoming very oily when I wake up in the morning.

My mom always used Noxzema and still has amazing skin. A lot of other people rave about Original Noxzema and how wonderful it is. So I guess i’m just seeking more opinions, who uses it, and if it helps acne or aggravates acne…because at this point I am frustrated with facial cleansers and should probably find a cheap replacement from bar soap, as I have heard is not good to wash your face with. I’ve only been using Noxzema for 3 days and it seems like I have a couple new pimples that came to surface. As with most medicated skin products, I would assume the best ones will make your acne worse before it gets better. When I used Tretinoin it made me break out pretty bad at first, but after a while it cleared up and my face looked great. I just ran out of refills from the Doctor and it’s not exactly cheap to be able to have it all the time. Also, the left side of my face looks great aside from a few tiny red marks, but the right side of my face is a pain and likes to break out more for some reason. I always wash my pillow case every couple days to decrease bacteria. Also, i’m on the pill ONLY for the purpose in treating my acne. It has helped some but not enough yet to be completely happy. I’m 23, with combination/sensitive skin/mild-moderate acne

Or will the stuck poop stay hard and only get slippery on the outside? I dont get it.

Does a stool softener that you stick up your butt also do this? How are they different?
every time I stop taking my (unrelated) medication I get this way for a couple days. I know that hydration and fiber prevents constipation.

I have an appointment in 2.5 hours for a sigmoidoscopy. I’ve only had clear liquids all day yesterday and all morning today. An hour ago, I used a saline enema (the first time I’ve ever used one) to finish "cleaning me out." I laid on my side for about 5 minutes before heading to the toilet. But I’ve only had one bowel movement. I kind of feel like I still have some matter up in me that I haven’t moved yet, but I don’t know if this is normal! I feel like I’m not completely cleaned out, but the box said not to use more than 1 in 24 hours so I can’t use another to be sure.

Is this normal? Is only going to the bathroom once after an enema normal? I was under the impression I’d like, have the runs for a couple hours.
hcnirG ehT, they asked me to stay on clear liquids only all Monday and Tuesday until the procedure, and use an enema Monday morning. They didn’t really explain more than that, but when I looked online a couple days ago it sounded like I would be trapped in the bathroom for a while.

I have a fleet enema, but im scared to use it. i’ve been straining and pooping out hard stool the last couple days after being constipated for a week. i feel like crap and bloated if i try to eat so someone here suggested i use an enema.

does it hurt? the idea of putting liquid up your but doesn’t sound good thats why im hesitating.

I don’t like to use the bathroom at work (or any public restroom for that matter). The colon cleaser product says it takes about 90 days to fully cleanse. I would obviously start on the weekend, but after the first couple days does the um…"action" slow down enough to go to work and activly participate in life or is it more beneficial to take a week off?

I tried an enima but it didn’t really work. I want to clean out my colon so that the poop is gone and i’m not bloated anymore. I never poop. WHat are some good colon cleanse products that are reasobaly priced? I heard drinking only water and juices for a couple days can do it.
