Ok so i have pooped a little but I am ALWAYS constipated thing is i drink 2 liters of water a day I eat fiber one metamucil, and seeds that can help and still when im desperate i relay on laxatives, either way i dont feel completely relieved and now i took phillips lax and i pooped black ..still full of crap in my belly i need help like what can i use to cleanse myself or do i need a colonic ? and im only 19!

I have been taking laxatives for 3 years because of constipation that never got better. I have now stopped for a few months, and am on Amitiza which is not a laxative. i was told at the beginning that if i got cleared out, my intenstine would strink to normal size and then i could ween myself off of laxatives and regain functionality.

am i permenantely damaged? my doctors are assholes and dont examine me. i was thinking about getting a colonic irrigation to get rid of the stool and weening myself off of medicines.

can this work?

ok so…. it’s been 9 days and i have not had a bowel movement.. i feel bloated and disgusting and weighed down. this is not the first time this has happened either… i eat healthy and exercise all the time so im not so sure whats causing this. my doctor has told me all he can do is prescribe laxatives but that does nothing for me…

A friend of mine recommended colonic irrigation where they stick a tube in ur (u know) and pump it full of water and clean out everything… Do you think this will help me? And does anyone have any experience or reviews with colonic irrigation?

I have done just about everything I know to do, short of taking a bunch of laxatives. I have had colonic hydrotherapy, done a colon cleanse, I take probiotics daily, have 30-35 grams of fiber daily, and also eat activia yogurt 5 days a week, but still only go every three or four days. Any ideas of things I may try different?

got a product and consulted with a health person that they work for cleansing purposes, but does cleaning out your colon work? And how long does it take with pills to do it? How can you tell if it is working? and does it make you smell, I mean it makes since if it is getting the toxins out of your body that it would make you smell more….But will it really help me loose weight? and will you continue to loose weight after you stop taking it with your body cleaner? just any knowledge on colon cleansing will help. I can’t afford the kind of colon cleanse from a doctor, so this is my only option by the way.
these are natural pills, not laxatives…And I work a lot and have a toddler so not eating isn’t an option because I need to be alert and I can’t be walking around spacey all day.

I have had constipation problems since I can remember, my mom said I got my first enema at about 6 months, I remember her telling I got them regularly all the way thru H.S. and after I left home I took laxatives for many years but in the last 10 years or so I have taking enemas instead, is that ok?

I heard that Napolean died because he had a daily enema administered. I have suffered from severe constipation for the past 3 years. Doctors find nothing wrong with me, and say I’m too young (43 years old) for a colonoscopy. Laxatives don’t work, so I use filtered water enemas to defecate. Can I die from too many enemas?

I’m a 15 year old semipro ballerina who wants to lose weight (now im 5’2" and 102 lbs). I have done a lot of colon cleansing laxatives but now me and my mom want me to get a colonic. I have also done alot of dieting. Would it be effective? How much weight would I lose?

I was recently told that I was full of crap! I pondered this question for a moment or two, then headed straight to you, the insightful ones.

So how is one to know if they are truly in need of a cleansing, or as what a colonic preveyor may refer to as detoxification.

Now, if my schooling taught me anything, it was that the colon, also called the large intestine follows the small intestine and comprises the end of the gastrointestinal tract. Now, we learned that most nutrients from food are absorbed in the small intestine. This would entail the colon to absorb water and salts from the stool while it pushes it along through the rectum. Correct?
Wouldn’t laxatives work just the same? They promote bowel movements, have been around for atleast 3892 Years!
Colon cleansing refers to a more invasive procedure of water and hoses stuck you-know-where. It’s not clear when this practice started.

It’s not poo in the toilet that ponders my couriosity, it’s the poo in me!
