I had one polyp found in my colon?

I have been realy sick for 4 months now. I have lost 25 pounds, have daily buring nausea, no appettit, and just feel weak and flu type symptoms. I had a barium test, a ct, and gallbader test, which all cam back good. Today I had a colonocopy, which showed a 6mm polyp. The doc said they dont think it could be cancers.
Could a polyp that is not cancerous and the small cause those symptoms?
Could a toxic colon cause that polyp and those Symptoms?
Or could parsites?
PLEASE HELP THANK YOU VERY MUCH:

Colon Cleansing?

I have been really sick for 4 months lost alot for weight, always have nausea. Also lose of appetite and just fell really sick. Have had all stomach and gallbader test and all came back good. Today I had a colonocosy that showed 1 polyp, and doc said it was not cancerous, but is still testing it. I have heard that a toxic colon can make yoy very ill. I was wondering if a colonocopy would show a toxin colon. Or is there toxins that they cant see that can make yoy ill? I also thougt I could have parsites, but never came up. I am only 19 and right before this all happend I went under alot of stress. I beleive stress had something to do with it, but my problems just keep getting worse.

There is no doubt that fasting is beneficial, as I’ve tried it myself. But does the body actually "purge" itself of toxins as we have been told? Are they flushed out of tissues and dumped into the bloodstream? Where do they go? What percentages are excreted from the skin? The bowel? The lungs? The sinuses? Is it even measurable? Are there examples of blood chemistry before, during and after a long fast? Is the blood full of stress-related chemicals before the fast? Does the blood become "dirty" with toxins and perhaps microbes/parasites/pathogens during the cleansing stage (when we experience the headaches, chills, fever, nausea, etc)? Does the blood become "clean" again after the fast has ended? Most importantly, where has this all been proven? Everyone has an opinion, but I’m interested in knowing where I can find the FACTS.
Definitions of fasts:
Dry Fasting: No food, no liquid. Very challenging and requires close supervision. Obviously not for extended periods, but a powerful type of fast (supposedly).

Water Fasting: No food, only purified water. Also very challenging. Produces hard and fast cleansing but also causes very intense side effects. For more experienced fasters.

Juice fasting: Pure fresh fruit juices and purified water. Provides nutrients in a pre-digested format, yet allows digestive system to rest and heal. High-energy fast that does not require faster to conserve energy (quite the opposite…you take stairs two at a time!). Side effects are mild.

I’ll trust personal experience over inexperienced "professional opinion" any day. As I said, EVERYONE has an opinion…even doctors. I’m just interested in what has been proven. No conclusions necessary. Just raw data.

I have the other symptoms but I also get nausea almost everyday. Could that be a symptom also?

How do I avoid headaches when fasting?

I started a fast for cleasing purposes and by the end of the day I had a massive headache (perhaps migraine) and nausea which were unbearable until I broke the fast and ate – the pain was gone about an hour after I ate. I was drinking Greens (barleans) instead of each meal, and taking garlic, multi-vitamins, chlorofresh, and probiotics (acidolphilus). I was drinking a lot of water. Someone I talked to said I might need to increase salt and potassium intake when drinking so much water. They also said that I may have been trying to do too much detox at once and should do a less exteme fast – like go all natural diet first and then work my way towards fasting.

I know there are many different brands, so please include that name of the one you tried.

What did they really do for you?
Did you just go to the bathroom a lot? If so, was it so much that it was a problem in daily life?
Did you have stomach cramps?
Did it cause diarrhea or nausea?
Did you really pass anything weird like in some of the photos they have at the sites?
Did you feel better? If so, was it within a few days or immediately?
How long did you take it?
How did you feel when you stopped taking it?
Did you change your diet with it and if so, was it a diet plan?
Do you have any health problems like I.B.S. or spastic colon or chronic bloating or chronic constipation and how did it affect you?

Please include everything you can think of. I’m not really interested in these for weight loss, though that would be a benefit, but to see if any of them improve how I feel overall.

Thanks to everyone that replies with a good, honest, helpful answer.

What is safe to eat while having diarrhea?

What foods are good to eat while experiencing long term diarrhea due to a gastrointestinal infection? The stomach is fine and there is no nausea. What foods will help or atleast not aggrevate the diarrhea further? What foods should be avoided?

I have been debating using a colon cleansing product for a few months now. I have never done it before and I feel physically that my body is backed up with years of food, toxins, waste.. you name it. I’ve heard of several brands but while searching around online I’ve found alot of debating about which ones work, which ones are fraud and which ones are not very healthy in the first place. The two I have been looking at the most are Bowtrol and Colonix.
Which one is better or is there a better one? If you’ve had personal experience with either I would appreciate your input. If you have experience with something different has worked perfectly for you I’d like to know.

I am especialy concerned about how safe or healthy these products are, and what symptoms users suffer. I would seriously like to avoid any that cause severe crampnig, nausea, or headaches.

All,

I have been having some serious problems over the last months and had several test done. The problems i have are pain in left and right upper side/ under ribs, nausea and feeling sick after going to the toilet, burning tongue and white tongue in the back (had this for months). Because of the problems i had many test done and the results came back with a spastic colon (i do not take any medicin for this). I also had HIP B, C, etc test done and 5 months ago and HIV (PCR) test done. All came back negative. I have a active sex live with different people but always use protection. I am very worried that I am HIV positive because of some of the symptons such as my burning tongue and white are on the back of my tone which I am sure does not help my spatic colon. Should I be worried about HIV?
